Is there an issue or idea which has been niggling at you, day and night, without respite?

If it’s an idea which you think a lot of your peers may share, or violently disagree with, then get it off your chest by submitting a short text – no more than one page – to us at ideasfactory@epc.eu.

We’ll assess the ideas on the basis of four criteria:

It should describe a particular issue in Europe which affects our generation - the impacts it might have, and what we could do about it.

It must take an original and thought-provoking perspective – but you don’t need to be an expert of the topic you write on!

It must be a “big” idea - in this way, it should raise more questions than it seeks to answer.

It must be short – an A4 page.

The process is simple (in theory). If there is a lot of response to an idea, positive and negative, then we will organise a brainstorming based around the theme, and invite all those who were enthused and incensed to discuss it further. Depending on interest, we’ll then suggest that the idea is developed within a small group for publication.

The process is flexible and dynamic. Some ideas won’t make it off the drawing board, and some will revolutionise Brussels thinking. Either way, you have to submit to find out.

We look forward to hearing from you!
