Ideas Factory celebrated the launch of the new Ideas Factory website, the new Facebook page and the end of the year on Thursday 16 December. The drinks were coupled witha lively discussion on “Living to work or working to live? Our prospects for work-life balance?”
Ideas Factory hosted a roundtable debate with other young thinkers to discuss Europe’s ageing society and it implications for the younger demographic. The discussion included presentations from Diogo Pinto, Secretary General of European Movement International, and Fabian Zuleeg, Chief Economist of the EPC. Participants were asked to consider questions, such as:
- Will the voice of the young generation be heard in the ageing society?
- Do you still believe in European welfare societies and social models?
- What role can immigrants play in meeting the demographic challenges ahead?
